Poets, Comedians and Musicians – Tears and Laughter for Palestine

This is an evening devoted to the poets, musicians, and comedians of Palestine. Join us for a comedic performance by Suad Amiry, author of Sharon and My Mother-in-Law. Palestinian-American poet Remi Kanazi, will deliver poems from his new book, Poetic Injustice: Writings on Resistance and Palestine. Stay tuned as we add amazing artists to this event.

Remi Kanazi is a poet and writer based in New York City. He is the author of Poetic Injustice: Writings on Resistance and Palestine and the editor of Poets For Palestine.

Said Durrah

Said Durrah, Comedian
Born in Detroit, Palestinian-Jordanian American comedian Said Durrah has performed his comedy all over the United States as part of hit tours such as Arabs Gone Wild, 1001 Laughs, Funatical Comedy, and even a performance on Broadway in 2010.
